In fact, it works so well that 72% of all usage of Gather is done on a mobile phone. This was no small task and was something that we had to envision from the beginning. Each screen, feature, button, and interaction was thought about to ensure that it works across any device.

What things can I NOT do on the mobile version of Gather?

Zero. Zilch. Nada. You can do EVERYTHING on Gather on any device.


Can I add an app icon to my phone?

Yep, you can have an app icon with your own custom logo. You'll simply tap your custom app icon and you'll be taken directly to your funeral home DashBoard. Once you log in the first time, you'll never have to log in again.


How do I download Gather from the app store?

You actually don't need to download anything from the app store, simply follow these instructions and the app will be instantly on your phone. We wanted to remove all friction so that everyone can quickly and securely access Gather. We went around the app store while still giving you, your team, and your families a first-class, mobile-first experience.

🤓 For our techy friends out there, we built a Progressive Web App that uses the latest frameworks to create a responsive experience on any device.


How often is the mobile app synched with the desktop version? 🕐

Instantly. Since it is all one integrated system, any changes made on any device by any team member are automatically up-to-date for everyone, everywhere, all at once. 🤩

Yep, you can run the entire finance side of your business from any device.

Can I autofill documents and send esignature requests?

Yep, nailed it. I think you are getting the picture!

Can I build a new workflow, add 18 steps to it, rearrange the order of the steps, adjust and reorder the components of each step, apply the new workflow to a case I just created, switch the case to a different funeral home location, add a few custom labels, complete a few steps on the new case, add a few notes, and then assign a step to a team member on my phone?

Well, it depends... just kidding! Of course you can. Literally, everything works on every device!
