You have a lot going on and keeping track of all of your events is critical to your team's success. Luckily, Gather's integrated calendar functionality can help organize everyone's calendar so that important details aren't missed.

How do I schedule an event in Gather? πŸ—“οΈ

From any case Organize page, simply click the "Schedule Services" button at the top of the page.

1️⃣ This top section will show all events that are currently scheduled on the date you have selected.

2️⃣ If there are any events that currently overlap with the date and time you have selected, the overlapping event at the top will highlight in orange.

3️⃣ You can specify common locations at the funeral home level so that you don't have to type them over and over for each event. This is done by navigating to the "My Funeral Home" page and opening the "Specify Common Locations" accordions.

4️⃣ You can switch between two different views for selecting dates and times based on your preference. Your selection will be remembered next time you log in. Here is what the expanded view looks like, which helps save a few clicks:

5️⃣ If you use Gather's LiveStream solution, you can specify which events will be streamed. This automatically adds a section to the Remember page that allows you to quickly start the live stream.

6️⃣ Marking this option will make it so that only invited helpers can see the event, including any live streams attached to the event.

7️⃣ If you have a Gather website, all scheduled events will automatically flow over to your website. Any updates to the event will also automatically publish to your website.

Once an event is scheduled, it is accessible throughout the Gather platform for you and your team.

From any page in Gather

Clicking your photo in the top-right of any page in Gather will open up a large menu that shows all events across your funeral home. You can click on each event to drill into that particular case.

πŸ—“οΈ This calendar view will go back 5 days into the past and 30 days into the future. For a dedicated view with more days, you can integrate your Gather calendar with Google Calendar.

Any events scheduled will automatically flow to your Gather website, ensuring that every detail of every event is always 100% up-to-date.
