From the early days of Gather, we recognized that funeral homes wanted a tool that was seamlessly integrated together. This was not an easy task. With every feature we've developed over the last decade, we've worked hard to ensure that everything is tied together perfectly, and we've achieved that objective.

Having everything fully integrated saves you time, removes headaches, and creates a superlative experience each time you use Gather. Let's walk through a few examples to show you what we mean and how important it is to have a platform that is fully integrated.


Funeral Home + Family

Nearly every aspect of what you do as a funeral director is tied to helping a family. Because of this, Gather is a dual-entry platform that was carefully designed to help both the funeral home and the family with all of the tasks needed to say goodbye to a loved one.

Families can be invited into Gather and you can control exactly what access levels they have. You can quickly assign them tasks, send reminders, request payments, share service details, educate them, ask them to esign documents, and so much more.

Organize + Remember

By using Gather to help organize the arrangements, you automatically create a digital keepsake for your families as shown below.

Many of the tasks completed during the arrangement process automatically create a digital keepsake for the family. For example, inviting helpers to work on tasks also adds those family members to a digital guestbook on the Remember page. here are a few more examples.


Photos

As a Funeral Director, you need photos for a number of different tasks. With Gather, we create a shared photo library that can be used throughout the entire Gather experience:

  • To be rearranged for a memorial video

  • To be preserved for the family to hold onto forever

  • To be attached to an obituary

  • To attach to your DashBoard for quick identification

  • Photos can be easily collected from multiple people

  • To be displayed beautifully on your custom Gather website (optional)

  • Photos can be downloaded at full resolution to be used as needed


Vitals

Rather than enter the vitals multiple times, with Gather you can invite the family to enter the vitals once and then they can be used across the entire Gather platform:

  • To autofill forms for print or esignature

  • In Gather's custom aftercare tasks like turning off a Netflix account

  • To be used to automatically generate a beautiful obituary using A.I.

  • To flow into your customizable management reports

  • To flow to your custom Gather website (optional)

  • To view details in your customizable chain of custody (optional)


Events

Gather makes it easy to keep your team on the same page with scheduled events. Enter an event once and it will flow through the entire Gather experience as well as onto your phone's calendar:

  • Events can flow into any custom reports that you want to create

  • See an up-to-date calendar from any screen in Gather

  • Two-way sync of all events with Google Calendar integration

  • Get warned if an event is overlapping with another event

  • Pull events automatically into an auto-generated obituary

  • Events flow automatically to your customer Gather website (optional)

  • Specify an event as LiveStream to coordinate the stream (optional)


Finance and Accounting

With Gather's digital showroom and integrated statement builder, you are able to keep track of all finance and accounting effortlessly.

  • Digital showroom automatically creates a statement of goods & services

  • Instantly collect payments against that statement

  • The statement can be signed via Gather's AutoForm functionality

  • You can click one button to collect payment remotely

  • View real-time collection data from your DashBoard

  • All invoice and payment information flows automatically into your custom reports
