Another great way to keep your team on the same page is by using notes. We’ve integrated the notes functionality seamlessly throughout the entire experience so that your notes are exactly where you need them when you need them. Your team communication is about to get even better!
Three Types of Notes
There are three convenient types of notes, each serving a slightly different purpose:
Case Notes: These are notes that are about the case in general and are never visible to the family.
Task Notes: These are notes attached to specific Tasks and are visible to the family if the task is visible to the family.
Step Notes: These are notes attached to specific tracking Steps and are never visible to the family.
Let’s walk you through the different places you can view and add notes…
VIEW 1️⃣: From Your DashBoard
The orange circle on the top-left of the case card on your DashBoard will show you a count of all notes on that case. Click this to see note details for a case without even having to leave your DashBoard.
VIEW 2️⃣: From the Case Page
You will notice a plus button on the bottom-right of each page. When viewing a case, click this to access and add your notes.
View 3️⃣: From within a Tracking Step
When completing a tracking Step or a Movement, you can add a note directly in the popup. This note will be tied directly to that action you took and will show up on your Activity Timeline.
View 4️⃣: From Your Activity Timeline
Case Notes and Step Notes will show up right inline on your Activity Timeline so that you have the exact information you need to provide the best possible care for your decedents.
REPORT: All Notes on a Case
From each case, you can access a report of all notes added to that particular case, including helpful contextual information about each note. Click the button in the bottom-right to access this screen.
REPORT: All Notes on All Cases
From your DashBoard, you can scroll down to see a summary of all Notes across All cases. Having everything in one place helps you stay up to date on all the details across all cases.
Pro Tip: There is a toggle on the top-right of this report that allows you to filter the list to show only notes from family helpers.
