Remember Books empower your funeral home or crematory to offer families a beautifully printed keepsake, turning their loved one’s Remember Page contributions into something tangible they can treasure forever.

If this feature is enabled for your account in Gather, your location(s) will receive 15% commission on monthly Remember Book sales, providing your business with an additional revenue stream.

These professionally printed books capture the memories, photos, condolences, and stories families and friends share on their loved ones' Remember Pages. By offering Remember Books, you extend the value of the Remember Page beyond the digital space, giving families something lasting and meaningful they can hold, revisit, and cherish for years to come.

For your location(s), Remember Books require no additional setup or management if Remember Pages are enabled for your account. Families order directly through their loved one's Remember Page, and fulfillment is handled seamlessly, allowing you to offer a meaningful memorialization option without adding extra work for your staff.

How Much Do Remember Books Cost?

Remember Books cost a flat rate of $89 (plus sales tax) regardless of page count. Additionally, shipping is free! This helps your staff offer your families and communities a reasonably affordable print keepsake option.


How Families Can Order Remember Books

Below is a quick guide on how families and friends can order Remember Books from their loved ones' Remember Pages.

1) Navigate to the Loved One's Remember Page

When visiting a loved one's Remember Page, visitors can scroll down to locate a section with a preview of their loved one's Remember Book.

2) Scroll Down and Click on 'Customize' or 'View Book'

Visitors can then hover on the Remember Book preview and click 'Customize' or 'View Book'. Next, they can click the 'Design Book Cover' to customize their loved one's Remember Book.

3) Design The Cover and Select an Artwork Theme

Families and friends can customize several components of their loved one's Remember Book:

  1. Preview the book using the 'Front', 'Spine', and 'Back' tabs. The front cover design can be customized, with either a single photo layout or a collage layout.

  2. The artwork style or theme can be customized for the loved one's Remember Book. This won't change the theme of the loved one's Remember Page.

  3. Once satisfied with the cover and artwork, click 'Next' at the bottom of the page.

4) Upload or Add Photos to The Book Design

Next, families and friends will be prompted to select or upload photos to their loved one's Remember Book design. We recommend advising families to wait 7-10 days after services have concluded to order a copy of a loved one's Remember Book, as there may be photo or memory contributions from other family members and friends that they'd like to include in their personal design before ordering.

  1. Upload new photos to the loved one's Remember Book design by clicking the 'Upload New' button.

  2. Select the photos to include in the loved one's Remember Book.

  3. Click 'Next' to proceed with the next phase of the book design.

Important: At least 20 photos are required to ensure a high-quality design and to proceed with ordering a loved one's Remember Book.

5) Add Memories to The Book Design

Next, families and friends will be prompted to select or upload memories to a loved one's Remember Book design:

  1. Select the memories to include in the loved one's Remember Book.

  2. Click 'Next' to finish the customizations and preview the book design.

6) Preview The Final Remember Book Design

After someone is finished customizing their loved one's Remember Book, they can preview the final design:

  1. Scroll down the page to preview the final book design, including the book cover and the internal pages.

  2. Click the back arrow in the top left-hand corner to return and remove any photos or memories, or change the artwork theme if needed.

  3. Click 'Next' to order the loved one's Remember Book.

7) Order The Remember Book

Once satisfied with the preview of their loved one's Remember Book design, families and friends can officially place their order:

  1. Specify the number of copies to order in the 'Quantity' box.

  2. Enter shipping information and email address to receive an order confirmation email.

  3. Enter preferred payment method for the order.

  4. Click 'Pay'.


How Remember Book Orders Are Fulfilled

After a Remember Book is ordered for one of your locations' cases, an email confirmation with tracking details will be sent to the purchaser's and your funeral home location's email addresses.

A Remember Book is generally printed and shipped to the purchaser's delivery address in 2 weeks.

How to Track Remember Book Orders in Gather

Your funeral home or crematory location(s) can track your Remember Book orders by creating a custom Remember Page report using Gather Analytics. Here's how:

  1. From your dashboard in Gather, click 'Analytics' and click 'Build New Report'.

  2. Select the 'Remember Page' data source.

  3. Enter 'Remember Book Orders' for the name, add a description, and click 'Save'.

  4. Click 'Filters' and set 'Memory Type' to equal 'Book Purchase'.

  5. Customize the columns of the report to your liking, and voila!

  4. Exclusions – The guarantee does not cover errors in the content provided to us (such as typos, missing information, or incorrect photos), normal wear and tear, or damage caused after delivery.

  5. Timeframe – Claims must be made within 30 days of receiving your book so we can resolve them quickly.

  6. Our Commitment – Our liability under this guarantee is limited to replacing the book.
