With Gather Analytics, we've made it easy to ensure that only the right people can see your data. You have full control at all times of multiple layers of security. Let's show you how it works.
User-Level Permissions
Part of the brilliance of Gather is that it was designed so that every member of your team can streamline their workload in a single, unified platform. This increases efficiency by keeping everyone on the same page at all times from any device.
You can control exactly what each invited team member can see and do within Gather Analytics. For each team member, you can control in one click which Data Sources they can access. From the My Team page, simply click on each team member and then click on the "Security" tab:
As an example based on the screenshot above, Betsy would only have access to view or create reports that are based on the "Case Vitals" and "Events" Data Sources.
This allows you to restrict sensitive information like financial data from being viewed by everyone while giving your team access to the power of Gather Analytics.

Each report within Gather is based on a Data Source. The Data Source determines:
What each row in the table is (e.g., a case, a task, an event, etc.)
Which columns of data are available
Which Date Types are available

Who can control user-level settings?
Only Funeral Home Admins can control user-level settings.
Can I restrict access per funeral home location?
Yes, the user-level settings can be controlled for each user at each funeral home location.
If a team member has been invited to a funeral location but doesn't have access to the Data Source at that location, they will see the following when they try to select the funeral home location on a report that is based on a Data Source to which they don't have access.
Can I remove access from a team member?
Yes, you can change someone's access levels at any time. This is helpful when a team member leaves-- you can simply remove their access to Gather and they will no longer have access to any of the data in Gather Analytics.
Can I share a custom report with my team?
Yes, of course. When you first create a custom report, it will only be visible to you, but you have two options to quickly share the report with your team:
Share to funeral home location(s)
Share to individual team member(s)

Can I email a report?
Yep, you can send the reports to which you have access to anyone else who also has access to the Data Source upon which the report is based.

We made it possible to send reports to any email address, including ones that aren't attached to a Gather team member account. This is only recommended in rare circumstances. Please note that the Data Source restrictions mentioned above do NOT apply to reports sent via this method.
