With KeepTrack™, you can quickly record a secure Identification Photo that can be used throughout the tracking process to ensure you are always working with the correct decedent.

The profile photo we covered earlier in the course is the outward-facing image that will be visible to the family and any visitors to their Remember page. Unlike that photo, this identification photo will only be shared internally among your team members who have access to KeepTrack™.

NOTE: This is an optional safeguard within Gather for your funeral home to help ensure there’s never a question about which decedent you’re caring for.

Snap an ID Photo

You can quickly take an ID Photo right from the same device you are using to track your steps.

🔒 IMPORTANT: Like the files and other images you take with your device, the identification photo isn’t saved to your device but is instead added and stored directly to Gather.

Safer Identification

Once you have captured a secure ID Photo, you can use it within each step to ensure that each team member is always working with the correct decedent.

You can even require that they view the ID Photo prior to proceeding as shown below.

🔒 Security

We’ve built in multiple levels of security to keep this image safe and secure:

  • The photo is never displayed to families.

  • It is hidden by default and only displays if clicked.

  • It only displays for 4 seconds at a time.

  • It gets automatically deleted 7 days after the case is finalized.
