Website Only Users

We added support for a new Website Only User type. These users will have restricted access limited to Gather - focused only on website functions, making permissions cleaner for funeral homes that need specific website contributors. A common example of this, is when a funeral home employees a marketing agency to help with their site. They don't want that marketing agency to have access to their funeral home data, but instead only have access to website-related functions. This is in effort to work toward Gather Websites V2, where our customers will be able to edit their site in Gather.

Mark Tasks Created by Family

We introduced a new indicator that marks tasks created directly by family members. This helps staff distinguish between family-created tasks and funeral home-created tasks, ensuring better visibility and prioritization during case management.

Add a Link to Refund Disclaimer to Checkout

The checkout flow for Remember Books now includes a link to the Refund Disclaimer. This ensures families can easily review refund policies before completing their purchase, improving compliance and transparency.

Continuing to Improve the Experience Inviting Existing Visitor Email to New Case via Profile Edit

Previously, when editing a visitor profile, employees were unable to attach an existing visitor email to a new visitor profile. This limitation has been fixed. Visitor emails can now be reused seamlessly across cases without requiring duplicate profile creation.

We previously released this last week and we identified an issue with what we previously released, so we are continuing to improve this.

Issue with Large Photo Downloads

We resolved a bug that caused "half photos" when downloading large sets of case photo files (~500 photos or more). Downloads should now complete reliably, even for bigger sets of photos.
