From Your Dashboard

Newly written policies will be displayed on your dashboard in Gather. On a policy card, click the 'Convert to Pre-Need' button. You will then be prompted to verify the decedent's name, specify the funeral director assigned to the case, and specify the workflow that will be used to plan services in Gather.

Note: Once you convert a policy to a pre-need case, the case card for this policy will disappear from your dashboard, and in its place should be the preneed case for the individual that was insured by the policy.

From Your Insurance Policies Report

Newly written policies will also be displayed in your 'Insurance Policies' report in Gather. To convert a new policy to a pre-need case directly from your insurance policies report, locate a pre-need case where the status reads as 'Unattached'. Click on this field, then click on 'Convert to Pre-Need'. From there, you will be prompted to verify the decedent's name, specify the funeral director assigned to the case, and specify the workflow that will be used to plan services in Gather.
