If you've reached this article, congrats on finalizing most of the general details with your case in Gather! However, because you have KeepTrack™ body tracking as well, there are a few extra steps that you should take to fully close out a case that is being tracked:
Complete all tracking steps for the case
Finalize the tracking flow for the case
Set the final location for the case
1️⃣ Complete All Tracking Steps For The Case
To complete all tracking steps, navigate to the case's 'Organize' page. Next, either select 'View Tracking Steps' or click on the QR tag icon in the top right of the case's profile picture.
Tracking steps that are already complete will be highlighted in green. Tracking steps that are incomplete are highlighted in grey.
2️⃣ Finalize The Tracking Flow For The Case
Once all tracking steps have been completed for a case, you will need to finalize the tracking flow itself. To do so:
Navigate to the case's tracking steps
Scroll to the bottom of the tracking step flow
Click on the 'Finalize' button
Complete the 'Finalize' step
Pro Tip: if you're not seeing the 'Finalize' step for a case, be sure to check that you've added the 'Finalize' step to the tracking steps for that case's specific WorkFlow on the backend in Gather.
3️⃣ Set The Final Location For The Case
In the 'Finalize' task from Step 2, you'll be prompted to move the case to its final location of disposition. Doing so will stop the tracking timeline for the case, lock the final location, and remove the case from your Digital WhiteBoard.
