How to Print KeepTrack™ Labels on Your Zebra Printer

Please work with your Gather Account Manager to enable KeepTrack Mobile Printing for your business. Once you have worked with your account manager and purchased an approved Zebra printer these are the steps you will follow:

  1. Download Browser Print by Zebra and install it on the device you wish to print from.

    1. Android Devices: Android Download

      Mac Devices: Mac Download

      Windows Devices: Windows Download

  2. Allow all permissions for Browser Print. Note: Browser Print must be running in order to print on Zebra printers from Gather.

  3. Unbox your printer and plug it into a power source using the included power cable.

  4. Press the power button on your device. The lights on the device will now start glowing.

    1. To identify if your printer is ready to print, the square light above the pause button should be green not orange and the pause light should not be glowing. It should look like one of these photos:

    2. The orange Pause light may glow for the first few seconds when powering on. If it remains glowing for more than a few seconds press the pause button on your device. This means your device is currently paused and you must un-pause it.

  5. Connect your printer to either USB or the network ethernet cable

    1. For USB connection: use the included USB cable and plug it into the device you wish to print from

    2. For Direct Network (Ethernet) Connection: Plug the ethernet cable you wish to use into the back of your printer. Ensure the device(s) you wish to print from are running on the same network. Note: Your network needs to run DHCP and the printer receives an IP address that is reachable by the device(s) using the Gather app and Browser Print to communicate with it. The IP addresses should be statically assigned (or reserved, if using DHCP).

  6. Open Browser Print app settings. To access the settings of the Browser Print, locate the Zebra icon that signifies that the program is running on your device.

    1. On Mac devices, you will click the icon and then click "Settings".

    2. On Windows, you will right click the up arrow in the bottom right of your screen

      Then right click on the Zebra icon

      And click Settings

  7. Once you have the Browser Print app settings open: click the "Change" button above "Default Devices" and your device will search for the connected printer.

  8. A pop-up will open titled "Select Default Device". In this pop-up is a drop-down menu titled "Device". Select the printer from that drop-down menu. Note: You will likely only have one option in this drop-down menu. If you have more than one, ensure it is the correct Zebra printer you wish to print from.

  9. Open Gather and select a case that has been assigned KeepTrack™. Then go to the Tracking Page.

  10. Navigate to the bottom of the Tracking Steps and click the button labeled "Print QR Stickers from Zebra Printer."

  11. Input your desired print quantity and click "Print."

  12. You will see a pop-up on your device screen from the Zebra software asking if you'd like to allow printing from my.gather.app.

  13. Select "Yes" on the pop-up, and the stickers will print from the Zebra printer.

You are now fully set up to print QR stickers on your Zebra printer from Gather.
