What's New

Manage notification preferences across all your funeral homes in one place

  • A new notification preferences page lists every funeral home you belong to, so you can opt in or out of any notification type in bulk or fine-tune per home.

  • Previously, preferences could only be changed one funeral home at a time from that home's settings.

  • The page is linked from the Settings Notifications tab and from a new link in the footer of notification emails.

Sharper profile photos for obituaries on websites

  • The obituary feed now provides a high-resolution version of the profile photo for website sliders that display it at a large size.

  • Photos that previously looked soft or pixelated in the newer, larger sliders now appear crisp.

A smoother book-building experience

  • Building a family book now includes a clear progress stepper across the Cover, Photos, Memories, and Preview steps.

  • Multi-photo covers can no longer be ordered with empty photo slots, preventing incomplete covers from going to print.

  • Error messages throughout the flow are friendlier and easier to act on.

Bug Fixes

iPhone photos now display correctly in the AI Note Scanner

  • Uploading HEIC files (the iPhone photo format) to the AI Note Scanner was breaking the review screen on desktop, even though scanning itself worked.

  • HEIC uploads now render properly throughout the review flow.

Clearer errors for scans that can't start

  • Scans of files over the 10 MB limit were failing silently with no feedback.

  • You'll now see a clear error message right away so you can resize and retry.

Package item selections can be changed again

  • In Goods and Services, changing the "Select any" number on a package item grouping had no effect.

  • The dropdown now saves your selection as expected.

Behind the Scenes

  • The AI Note Scanner is more resilient during high-demand periods, so scans complete reliably even when the AI service is briefly overloaded.

  • Performance improvements to the scan jobs list make it faster to load and lighter on the system.
