More Control When Publishing a Case

The publish dialog on the organize page has a refreshed design with clearer status, social sharing, and website controls. You can now publish a case to the website without automatically sending the obituary notification email, giving you flexibility for cases where you want the page live but aren't ready to notify subscribers. Unpublishing a case from the website works the same as before, just from the updated dialog.

Smarter Obituary Search on Your Website

The obituary search on your website now returns results when the first and last name match, even if the decedent's record includes a middle name or middle initial. Searches are case-insensitive and ignore extra spaces, so families don't have to type the name exactly as it's stored to find their loved one. Partial searches like just a first name, just a last name, or even a few letters will surface matching obituaries.

Statements No Longer Show an Extra Possessive Line for Names Ending in S

Statements were sometimes displaying an unintended "Charge: [Name]'s Contract" line when the decedent's name ended in the letter S. The possessive logic has been corrected so this line no longer appears on those statements.

Smoother Photo Scrolling on Mobile

Hanging photos on mobile were snapping awkwardly as families scrolled through them. Momentum scrolling has been restored so swiping through photos feels natural on iPhone and other mobile devices. Families primarily view these pages on mobile, so this is a meaningful improvement to their experience.
