FAQ: Printing KeepTrack™ labels from a Zebra Printer

☁️ What do I do when I need to change the roll of the labels?

When you need to change the roll of labels in your printer please insert it in between the two yellow prongs and pull the end so labels sticking out of the printer. Press the feed button on your printer. This will feed a couple labels out of the printer. At this point you should be able to print from Gather without re-doing any of the settings.

☁️ I have completed the Set Up Steps and am having connection issues.

Check that Browser Print is running on the device you are attempting to print from. Once you have ensured it is running, click the "Change" button above Default Devices and re-select the printer.

While viewing Browser Print ensure you see my.gather.app listed under Accepted Hosts. If not refer to steps 9-13 on the set up instructions.

If using an ethernet connection, please make sure your network is running DHCP and the printer receives an IP address that is reachable by the device(s) that will be using the Gather app and Browser Print to communicate with it. The IP addresses should be statically assigned (or reserved, if using DHCP).

☁️ How can I re-position the printed label?

Your Zebra printer should already come from the Gather HQ positioned perfectly for KeepTrack™ Labels. But there are instances where the positioning gets messed up and you must re-do it. Your printer comes with an auto-positioning capability. To auto-position, please press and hold on the pause and X buttons for two seconds. This will feed a couple of labels. After you have auto-positioned, please print a test label from Gather. If the issue persists, please refer to our article for further instructions.

☁️ What kind of connections are possible for printing from Gather to Zebra printers?

We currently only support USB and Direct Network (ethernet) connections.

☁️ Can I have more than one device printing to one Zebra printer?

Yes, for this we recommend connecting your Zebra printer to an ethernet cable. Then follow the set up instructions on each device you wish to print on.

☁️ What is Browser Print?

Broswer Print is an app by Zebra that enables printing from web apps, like Gather. You can review Zebra's documentation on Browser Print here.
