Batch Report

Gather Analytics → Legacy Reports → Batch Report

Written by Wesley Mowry

Before the Gather QuickBooks integration, accounting was done by closing the Batch Report and downloading the invoice and payment files. The data had to be reformatted to match QuickBooks’ columns and imported by hand. With Gather's QuickBooks Online (QBO) integration, products, statements, and payments sync automatically.

The Batch Report is now a review step to confirm that every invoice and payment has synced to QuickBooks.

'NOT Included in Current Batch' Section

The 'NOT Included in Current Batch' section lists all items that will NOT be contained in the next batch export. Action will need to be taken on each item you want to include in the current batch.

You can use the 'Freeze Selected Statements' button to bulk freeze multiple or all unfrozen statements.

'Current Batch' Section

Each successfully synced row of the 'Current Batch' has a timestamp when it synced to QBO. The 'Sync to QBO' button appears on invoice and payment rows that haven’t synced yet, and only while QuickBooks is connected.

If there was a disconnect or an unsynced entry, use Sync to QBO on the open row. Retrying is safe and won’t create duplicates; if you do see duplicates in QuickBooks, contact Gather Support and don’t retry.

'Previous Batches' Section

In the 'Previous Batches' section, you will see closed batches. These entries show the closed date and a Download button. These closed batches will not be synced to QBO with the integration. Syncing starts going forward, and anything from before you connected isn't sent to QBO.
